Officially released on Itch.io!
Hello fellow Puzzle Lovers!
With todays update, I'm happy to say that the game is Itch.io-released. What does that mean, you ask?
The game is now fully playable, with all the story content that I designed for it, and includes some recent improvements to both visuals and music. There might be some smaller updates coming through later on, but they will not affect any of the existing puzzles (unless you really tell me something is too hard haha), nor the story arcs. I might revisit some of the dialogues and correct some misspellings here and there, but those are hopefully cosmetics.
The just uploaded update contains a lot of changes too! Each scene now has it's own music (derived from the music playing in the background while you solve puzzles), so you no longer will hear the same repetitive music when playing. I have also added transitions between scenes and improved a bit the "free player interaction" sections, where you choose which part of the scene you want to explore next - the swirly effect will only appear when it's your turn to pick next selection, otherwise it will kindly animate itself away.
Thank you very much for playing and I hope you enjoy Opus Cortex!
